In June 2006, Gary Katacouzinos, an apprentice chef and food consultant with over 30 years of experience in the industry, opened first Cone Heads™ store in St Kilda, Melbourne. Gary with his experience and knowledge, incorporated the best elements of his father’s old-fashioned fish & chip shop, chicken shop and classic take-away into a modern Chips & Gravy concept. Gary successfully created exciting products and faster service by using the most innovative cooking technology and equipment available. Cone Heads™ quickly became a local favourite for its Chips & Gravy and its version of French Poutine. Our version of Fish n’ Chips, Chicken n’ Chips, Calamari Rings and fire-grilled gourmet burgers have also proven their popularity with a large cult following within Australia & beyond

We use healthy choice chips made from premium quality potatoes cooked on order every time. Our Chips are 100% Cholesterol Free and we have worked hard to make our products totally Trans-Fat free and GMO Free. Our packaging is made from recyclable materials and is specifically designed by engineers to maintain the flavour and freshness of the products.

Cone Heads in Pakistan
In September 2014 Cone Heads expanded to Pakistan by opening its first restaurant in DHA Lahore. The opening event was attended by Mr. Peter Heyward the Australian high commissioner, Mr Gary Katos-president of Cone Heads, celebrities and prominent social personalities. Cone Heads has aggressive expansion plans and will open 30 outlets in Pakistan over a period of ten years. Currently, there are 03 more outlets under-development at prime locations in Lahore and Islamabad.
