Johnny Rockets (US) continues expansion in Pakistan

December 16, 2013 Expanding their Global Footprint, the scrumptious burger Franchise Johnny Rockets continues to grow. Starting with Karachi, the first restaurant was opened at Dolmen Mall, Clifton on December 5, 2013. Now having opened its first outlet in Karachi Johnny Rockets is all set to open its store in Lahore in the beginning of 2014.

Johnny Rockets has over 320 corporate and franchised owned restaurants in 30 American states and 26 countries. Abdul Wahab Bandhani, Chairman of Bandhani Group, signed the franchise agreement between his company Hamdan International (Pvt.) Ltd. and Johnny Rockets International last year. With Lahore and Islamabad plan in the pipeline, Mr Wahab feels that “Johnny Rockets is a brand that has massive potential in Pakistan due to its nostalgic dining experience and unmatched quality of food.” With the scrumptious classic-American menu of food bursting with flavour, a variety of delicious milkshakes and an environment that echoes Rock ‘n Roll, Johnny Rockets provides the complete diner experience! Krispy Kreme (US) Expands in India

December 6, 2013 Following earlier success in the country, Krispy Kreme is opening its first store in Delhi in northern India as the doughnut maker expands its international footprint.

The company announced Thursday that the new doughnut cafe will open Saturday, and is the first of 35 planned in northern India by its new franchise partner Bedrock Foods Pvt. Ltd.

“We are excited to partner with Bedrock Food Company in taking the one-of-a-kind Krispy Kreme taste and experience to the people of Delhi,” said Jeff Welch, Krispy Kreme president – international.

The new store will feature Krispy Kreme’s “Doughnut Theater” viewing area where customers can watch the doughnuts being cooked, filled and topped.

It’s been a busy few months for Krispy Kreme (NYSE: KKD) outside the U.S. borders. The company signed its first South American franchise deal in September and in October opened its first store in Singapore.
